BRIMFIELD, MA Great town just west of Sturbridge on Route 20. Bordered by Holland and Wales on the South and Palmer and Monson on the West. To the North is Warren and Brookfield. Brimfield hosts the Brimfield Antique Show in May, July and September. Other than the show, Brimfield is a quaint laid back town. a very relaxing and enjoyable place to live close to the pike in Sturbridge and Palmer.
BROOKFIELD, MA This is where James and Kathleen live, and it is a great community. You will enjoy the Brookfield Elementary School where two of our JCKC boys are currently attending. It's easy to make lots of friends in Brookfield, and you will appreciate the town's direction and vision. The Quaboag river runs through the town, and it is great for fishing and kayaking. Brookfield is bordered by East Brookfield on the East, North Brookfield to the North and West Brookfield and Warren to the West. Sturbridge and Brimfield are just south of Brookfield, and it is a part of the Tantasqua Regional School District.
CHARLTON, MA Charlton has been a sought after area since we moved to Massachusetts. They have excellent schools in cluding Shepherd Hill High School in the Dudley-Charlton School District. Charlton has grown substantially over the last 5 years. Route 20 connects Charlton to the Auburn Pike Entrance and the Sturbridge Pike Entrance, making it a great commuter location. You can also take Stafford Street right into Worcester. New Commercial Development has begun to take off along Route 20 in Charlton, and we are expecting a new movie theatre and Lowe's to go up in the near future. Tax rates are very reasonable in Charlton.
DUDLEY, MA Dudley, MA is the home of Nichols College at 124 Center Road. A great business school that we have heard people rave about. Dudley is a part of a great school district and high school students attend Shepherd Hill Regional. Route 169 is a major route in Dudley giving it's residence access to lots of shopping and will take you to Southbridge (via route 131) and to I-395). We have worked with several clients who love the Dudley area and really enjoy working in this town. There are several great ponds/lakes in Dudley such as Pierpont Meadow, Hayden and Merino Pond. All full recreation ponds.
HOLLAND, MA Holland has been a great place to visit. Waterskiing with friends on Hamilton Reservoir is a great way to enjoy your New England summers. What an excellent community to be a part of. Either side of the reservoir offers great boating and fishing. There are many breathtaking views from the cottages and homes around the lake. You have great access to I-84 and Route 20 and Route 131. Holland is also a part of the Tantasqua Regional School District.
SOUTHBRIDGE, MA Looking for a great deal? Southbridge has the same country setting features as the other towns in the area if you go out just a little from the bustling downtown area. Downtown Southbridge has several shops and is lined with lamposts making it feel like one of those quintessential towns in the movies. It has come a long way since it's old mill days and could be a great investment area for the future. Don't count it out if you are looking for a great price on housing you might find the perfect home for your needs right here.
STURBRIDGE, MA Sturbridge is a Crossroads town. It intersects the Pike and Interstate 84 and Route 20 and Route 131. This is a perfect commuter location. With the great access to the Pike and I-84 you can get to Boston, Worcester, Hartford and Springfield very easily. We chose Sturbridge as our town for JCKC Realty, because it allows us to work with people form all over. It's strategic location will keep the economy great for years to come, and we love the town. Sturbridge has many lakes such as Big Allum, South Pond, Cedar Lake, Walker Pond and Leadmine Pond. Old Sturbridge Village is a cool place to visit too. We love to watch the Fireworks on the 4th of July. There are lots of unique restaurants around the area, so if you are looking for a great community, you can't go wrong with any town in the Sturbridge Area.
WARREN, MA Warren, Massachusetts is located just West of Brookfield, MA, South of West Brookfield and East of Palmer. Brimfield borders Warren on the South. It's High School Students attend Quaboag Regional High School along with West Brookfield residents. Warren is a beautiful town with some Early American architecture still in-tact. The Quaboag River runs through the cute town, and has some really nice spots for Kayaking and Fishing. It is relatively close to the Pike entrance in Palmer, around 10-15 minutes away. Warren has some interesting topography with 164 Peaks and Summits. It seems there is always a pretty view right around the corner in Warren, MA.
